Arthritis

Arthritis is a medical condition that affects your joints, causing discomfort, stiffness and pain. Arthritis is an umbrella term for more than 100 conditions that affect the joints in the body.

Most common types of arthritis are:

The most appropriate treatments for arthritis will depend on which type of arthritis you have. However, physiotherapy is very beneficial for patients with arthritis as it can help improve day to day mobility and participation in daily activities

We aim to

     · Restore the use of the painful joints

     · Improve Range of Motion

     · Increase the strength of the surrounding muscles

     · Ensure you have an exercise program to maintain your fitness

     · Give appropriate lifestyle advice
